The Cheap Seats

The best seat in sports was never the expensive one. The Cheap Seats are our chat rooms — several rooms, each with its own topic, real fans, real talk, a host keeping it civil, and the games floor humming right next door.

Rooms run on a posted schedule Hosted & civil — House Rules apply Free to look in
One honest word before you look around: the rooms aren't open yet — the talk starts at launch, hosted and scheduled like you see here. This page is your walk-through of the floor as it will be: read the rules, check the box, and look in on the rooms.

First, the House Rules

One stop before the talk starts. Everybody who walks into the chat rooms reads the House Rules and checks the box — no exceptions, no fine print. These are the full rules, the same ones posted on the House Rules page.

The Play Rules

  • Free play only. Every machine in this lounge plays with imaginary coins. There is no way to gamble here, because there is nothing real to gamble with.
  • Coins have no cash value. They can't be bought, sold, traded, or cashed out — not by you, not by us, not by anybody. A million coins is worth exactly one good evening.
  • No tricks. The daily bonus is the daily bonus. The free spins are free. What a machine says is what a machine does — that's the whole business model of this place, and it's printed on every machine: "Imaginary money. No tricks — just play."
  • We play no games — the games are yours. The house doesn't sit across the table from you. Your only opponent is the leaderboard, and it's made of friends.

The Chat Rules

  • Talk like you're in the room. Because you are. Disagree about the game all night — that's what the Cheap Seats are for — but the person is never the target.
  • Keep it civil. No abuse, no harassment, no slurs, no spam, and no links selling anything. Fans of every team sit here; the room belongs to all of them.
  • Rooms are hosted. A host keeps the conversation moving and the room friendly. The host's call on what crosses the line is final — that's how the room stays worth walking into.
  • Rooms run on a schedule. When a room is closed, it's closed — the schedule board says when it opens next. Good rooms are worth showing up on time for.

Preview: The House Heavy

When somebody breaks the House Rules for the first time, the house heavy pops up with a friendly warning. This staged control demonstrates that first-warning pop-up once on this device.

Staged preview only. At launch, a host or report system will bring up this same warning when a real first violation happens.
